BIOVISION 2011: 7th EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL LIFE SCIENCES FORUM

This year BioVision Life Sciences Forum will take place in Lyon at the Palais des Congrès, on 27-29 March 2011.

This edition will offer a new ‘Business in Science' course, on the theme: "The end of the traditional life sciences industry model, so what next?"

For over 10 years, Biovision has been bringing together the major decision makers and experts in life sciences for 3-day seminars to discuss important scientific advances in health, nutrition and environmental matters and to debate on the impact of these scientific and industrial innovations in society.

The 2011 edition with be structured around 3 themes with 180 participants.

• ‘From the decision makers' point of view'.
• ‘Scientific advances'
• ‘Business in Science' -2011's newcomer- will bring 25 international experts together to debate the transformation of the health economics business model.

New for BioVision 2011:

• The creation of a scientific council to determine the scientific issues to be addressed during the forum.
• A programme focused closely on key issues.
• The creation of a new course: ‘Business in science', which aims to boost the business world's participation in Biovision.
• An IT tool will be made available to all participants before the event to facilitate networking.
• Fifteen associated events organised by regional, national and international partners.
