A delegation from Lyon led by Gérard Collomb, Senator-Mayor of Lyon, travelled to Frankfurt on 10 June to celebrate the anniversary of the German city's twinships. As the longest standing partner, Lyon was guest of honour throughout this event.
During the inauguration, some 200 guests attended the illumination of the monumental fountain in the Palmen Garten Park team coordinated by a team from Lyon. 100 roses and 100 brochures were distributed at the event.
A street marketing device was also implemented, during which 2000 roses and 2000 cards were distributed. 1200 people participated in a competition launched especially for the event, in which two people won a weekend in Lyon.
