Some 300 Ambassadors gathered at the Espace Le Bec to learn about the development projects of Lyon's airports. This second Ambassadors event offered an evening full of opportunities to network!
The Chairman of the Board of Lyon's airports, Yves Guyon, reminded the audience why Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is such a great asset for the economic development of the Lyon area.
Ranked by API Europe as the Number One airport in its category in 2008, Lyon-Saint Exupéry reported excellent growth in traffic, with over 7 million passengers in 2007.
Lyon also has a second airport: Lyon-Bron is the fourth largest business airport in France and had growth of more than 14% in 2007. This is a great boost for the local economy!
The business Hub service center scheduled to open in 2009 will act as a genuine launching pad for Lyon's entrepreneurs.

ENTREPRENEURS CLUB OF THE LYON AIRPORTS
Jacques Berger, member of the Executive Committee of the Entrepreneurs Club of the Lyon Airports and Delegate General Manager of Sanofi-Pasteur, emphasized the goals of the Entrepreneurs Club which aims to represent the interests of regional firms who rely on the airport to continue to do business and to develop.
Following the presentation, many ONLYLYON Ambassadors asked for more information about the Club and about becoming a member.

Aure Leneutre, a university teacher and ONLYLYON Ambassador, was the happy winner of a drawing prize of two round trip tickets for Lyon-New York, which she received from Frédéric Nourrisson, Delta Transit Supervisor, when the flight opened in July.
Jacques de Chilly, Executive Director of Aderly, invited the Ambassadors to become ACTIVE Ambassadors!

The evening continued with a cocktail in a friendly atmosphere where the Ambassadors were able to make interesting business contacts.
