Inaugurated at 4pm on Friday 25 June by Gérard Collomb, Senator-Mayor of Lyon, this unique sculpture is designed for inhabitants and visitors alike to adopt the ONLYLYON brand.
This initiative by ONLYLYON Tourism symbolizes a new phase in the brand's marketing of Lyon.
The exhibition or this sculpture is part of an initiative to revamp Lyon's tourism.
Thanks to the opening of an Easyjet terminal and many large-scale cultural events the city offers (the Electronic Music Festival, the many biennial festivals in Lyon etc.), Lyon has been experiencing an explosion in European urban tourism. As such, it attracts 6 million tourists per year.
Every three months, the ONLYLYON letters will be moved to a new location in the city. You will find them in a symbolic part of the city!
