The CENS’ mission is to bring together experts and researchers in nutrition and metabolic studies in order to develop an understanding of the stakes and to improve patient care. By bringing together researchers and industrial players in the agri-foods and pharmacy sectors, the CENS aims to provide solutions to nutrition-related health problems.
CENS is the result of collaboration between the Rhone Alpes Research Centre for Human Nutrition (CRNH), the Fondation Bullukian, Institut Mérieux, Institut Paul Bocuse, Laboratoire CarMeN, Nutrisens, Roquette and the SEB Groupe.
While Hospices de Lyon currently accommodates the centre, it will eventually set up at Lyon Sud Hospital, when its premises are finished.
