VÉLO’V, EUROPEAN CHAMPION!

Lyon’s famous Vélo’v has just been named the European champion of bike-sharing systems!

According to a study carried out between March and May 2012 by the Automobile Club Association, Lyon ranks Number 1 among bike-sharing systems, ahead of Paris and Brussels!

Some 40 different systems were tested in 18 European countries, based on 4 criteria:

accessibility,
information,
ease of the rental process,
the quality of the bicycles.

And the Lyon system was the only one to obtain the mark “very good”!

With 343 stations and 4000 bicycles, a rental system accessible to anyone at any time, stations available near public transportation, easy registration and information available in several languages, the Vélo’v system scores top marks and enjoys huge success!
